The New Testament is a collection of twenty-seven books. All of the books come from the first followers of Jesus. Some of the books take only a few minutes to read. But before you read the books in the New Testament, it helps to know what each book is about.

book of Acts tells the story of how Paul came to believe in Jesus. He soon became a leader in the early church. Paul wrote many letters to help encourage the people of God. The New Testament includes thirteen of those letters.
After you read what 2 Corinthians is about, you will find some verses to read. These verses will help you understand how Paul wrote and what was important to him.
2 Corinthians
Paul wrote more than one letter to the *church in Corinth. He wrote this letter to defend himself. Some false teachers had told lies about him. He wanted the believers in Corinth to understand the truth. He also tells many personal stories about his life.
