The New Testament is a collection of twenty-seven books. All of the books come from the first followers of Jesus. Some of the books take only a few minutes to read. But before you read the books in the New Testament, it helps to know what each book is about.

Here are a few words to help you to read the New Testament book of Jude. 3 Jude is one of the books that we call the “general letters.” Paul did not write these books. Other leaders in the early *church wrote them. They wrote these letters to help encourage the people of God. The New Testament includes eight of those letters. Jude is the last one.
After you read what the book of Jude is about, you will find some verses to read. These verses will help you understand Jude. You will see what was important to him.

Jude wrote this small book to warn the *church. Men have come into some of the churches speaking lies. They lived bad lives and tried to lead people away from Jesus. Jude speaks strong words against false teachers. He wants the people to remain loyal to Jesus. He ends his letter with praise to God.
